About this event

As education is reimagined during the COVID 19 pandemic, some students may be seeking alternatives to fill educational needs, extra time or required volunteer service goals. Whose goals should an internship meet -- the students or the organization? At this webinar, we will talk about defining, planning, supervising and clarifying what students – whether high school or college-aged-- can and cannot do to impact your organization.

Volunteer Fairfax serves the Fairfax County/Northern Virginia community. We mobilize people and resources to meet regional community needs. We achieve our mission through a variety of programs, special events, and services. Through these activities, Volunteer Fairfax strengthens the capacity of local nonprofits, connects for-profit resources to community need, matches volunteers to meaningful service, supports government programs, and hosts family-friendly volunteer opportunities. We are proud to be a source of volunteer management education.
